Empowerment Technologies or E-Tech often deals with the use of different technologies such as mobile phone, computer, telephone and other devices to locate, save, communicate and to inform.

We have to admit that technology is part of our everyday lives. In our school, there’s a lot of things that connects to technology and also for our studies. And so I can say that E-Tech is important because there’s a lot of knowledge we can learn in this subject.

E-Tech is important, why? We as a students of senior high, we will face a different kind of challenges. And technology can help us, especially in our studies, to teach the value and to introduce us to the proper world of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and to teach us the proper etiquette of using it and not the way, where people using it in violence that could.

E-Tech is a great idea for a students like me, to learn better, understand better and to socialize. Technology is very convenient and easy to use for us to get faster information. And it gives more chances to interact and communicate to the other people or to your loved ones. Also it is very applicable for education, because students become a lot more active and engaged in the classroom while teachers have become more facilitators than just a dispenser of information.

Nowadays, a lot of people can’t work technologies, do you agree? Because like what I said, it is already part of our everyday lives. A life without technology is such boring, and so most of the thing we do, we have the technologies on our side which can help us, do the right thing to do.

And I hope that this technology won’t affect us as a human being, but instead help us to grew more and to learn new things about the different kinds of technologies. And speaking of different kinds of technology, let me give you some examples it.

There are 6 common types of technologies. 1.Communication- consists of any pieces of technology people use to communicate with one another. Example: Television, Internet, Cellphones. 2. Electrical- many pieces of modern technology use electricity in some form. Example: Computer, Circuitry, Artificial Intelligence, Software, Audio and Visual technology. 3. Energy- aims to help generate, store and transmit energy for a variety of purposes. Example: Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Batteries. 4. Mechanical- is the application of engineering principle to achieve tasks more effeciently. Example: Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering. 5. Medical- helps improve people’s quality of life in a number of ways. Example: Diagnostics, Pharmacuetical, Surgical, Monitoring. 6. Transportation- it’s much easier to travel than it once was thanks to improvements in technology. Example: GPS, Flight, Vehicles.
